SIMONE BILES - what astrological placements elevate an athlete to G.O.A.T. status?

Simone Biles is one of the most decorated gymnasts of our time. Looking at her smiling face, it's hard to imagine that her life started off far from easy.

Unfortunately, Simone's biological parents were unable to take care of her and her three siblings. As a result, she had to learn early on what it means to live in foster care.

Looking at her chart, a lonely Moon in the house of the parental family under a very close aspect of a strong Saturn stands out. The Moon also governs childhood, the mother, and as the ruler of the 4th house in her chart, it influences inner happiness. Meanwhile, the Sun, which represents the father, is in the 12th house along with three malefic planets.

However, there are positive aspects as well. The Moon is in its sign of exaltation, and the ruler of the father's house—Jupiter—feels quite strong in the 10th house. Thus, the negative influence was compensated.

When her grandparents learned about the dire situation with their grandchildren, they initially offered help and eventually officially adopted Simone when she was 6 years old.

What did I not mention?

All of this happened during the Moon period, which lasted until 2004, when Simone turned 7 years old.

Next comes the Mars period. Mars is probably the most important planet for Biles. For starters, it is the Lagnesh—the ruler of her first house, with Aries rising. This alone tells us a lot about her personality.

A fighter by nature, bold and active, yet the sharpness of Aries is well balanced by the presence of Pisces and Taurus in her personality. This balance tempers the egocentric tendencies of Aries, allowing her not only to work well in a team but also to be sensitive to others. As a bonus, there are creative inclinations, so it’s no surprise that she chose an aesthetic sport.

Are all Aries destined for sports? Of course not, although having a fiery nature is important for a sports career.

It's important to pay attention to the placement of Lagnesh—the ruler of the first house—Mars. It is located in the 6th house of fighting and enemies. On one hand, this can be considered an unfavorable position, as it suggests that the person’s life will be full of challenges. On the other hand, this is an excellent position for athletes, as their lives are centered around competition, meaning they constantly face "enemies."

But this is not just any Mars; it’s a retrograde Mars in conjunction with Rahu—the karmic planet. Retrogradation also indicates a karmic task. Moreover, Mars is very strong, making it the most important planet in Simone’s life.

One of the negative aspects of such a placement is hyperactivity. People with this position have a lot of energy and feel like they constantly need to be doing something. Simone has openly admitted to having ADHD and taking therapeutic medications.

This is a modern method of correction, but it addresses the symptoms rather than the root of the problem. The name for this condition was coined not so long ago, but in astrology, such a state has been known for centuries.

Nevertheless, sports are actually one form of correction because they channel all that excess energy into a peaceful direction.

However, it’s important to note that the majority of Simone’s karmic tasks are directly related to this Mars, with which she not only needs to make friends with but also actively use for the benefit of society.

On the positive side, such a position makes a person very determined and independent. It provides immense strength, which must be used wisely.

Now, let’s return to Simone, who trained intensively during her Mars period from 2004 to 2011. This is hardly surprising.

When Rahu's period began, Simone had reached the age where she could participate in competitions, and her accumulated potential yielded outstanding results.

In astrology, there's a concept called "fortunate timing of periods." This means that the planetary periods align well with a person's age. If these periods had occurred later in Simone's life, even with the excellent promises in her chart, she might not have become a multiple Olympic champion.

But Rahu produced remarkable results, enhancing the success combinations formed by Mars, the Sun, and Saturn.

Interestingly, there’s a significant detail—the very active 12th house, which is associated with foreign lands. Moreover, the rulers of the career house and the house of foreign lands exchange places. Most of her awards were won in international competitions abroad.

The sub-periods of Rahu and Jupiter brought medals, but the Saturn sub-period shone brightest with 5 medals at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

The sub-period of Mercury coincided with the Tokyo Olympics. While Mercury does activate competitions, the combinations it forms are more controversial. As a result, there was only a bronze medal, and Simone withdrew from the competitions, citing mental health issues.

Some sources reported that the medications she takes for ADHD are banned in Japan. Without them, she struggled to fully regain control. This is yet another reminder that it’s essential to address the root of the problem rather than just its symptoms.

But periods change. The sub-period of the well-placed Venus from 2023 to 2026 brought not only 4 medals in Paris but also marriage. Once again, this is hardly surprising. Rahu-Venus always brings a surge in love life.

What else is interesting? Despite already being at an advanced age for a gymnast—27—I have a feeling that Simone isn't quite ready to end her athletic career. The next Olympic Games in 2028 fall during her Mars sub-period, and it's hard for me to believe that she won't have a strong desire to compete again! Moreover, there's every chance she could win a couple of medals, although there could also be injuries along the way.

However, with the onset of the Jupiter period in 2029, I think she’ll calmly transition into a coaching role and be very successful at it. After all, Jupiter forms a Maha-Raja Yoga and clearly suggests a teaching career.

I’m curious, though—will she work as a coach abroad, or will this connection with the 12th house manifest in training Olympic champions? In any case, this will be a new wave of success for her, but in a different role!
